1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Use apply to the public website at https://www.synthcityradio.com, including the radio, listening pages, SCR Zine, contact form, newsletter information and music submission information. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

Separate services opened through external links are governed by the terms and policies of their own providers.

2. What Synth City Radio provides

Synth City Radio provides a free, independently curated music discovery service. It may include a 24/7 radio stream, playlists, listening links, artist features, interviews, news, editorial recommendations and information for artists.

The project is editorial in nature. Information and recommendations are provided for general listening and informational purposes, not as professional, legal, financial or commercial advice. The catalogue, schedule, features and availability may change as the project develops.

3. Music submissions and editorial decisions

Music submissions are accepted only through the submission routes listed on the website. Those routes may be operated by third-party submission platforms and may have their own accounts, prices, rules and privacy practices. The general contact form is not a track submission channel.

A submission does not guarantee a review, response, playlist placement, radio airplay, article, social media feature or any other form of support. All editorial decisions remain at the sole discretion of Synth City Radio and may depend on quality, identity, atmosphere, current programming and available capacity.

The person submitting music confirms that they are entitled to share the submitted material and related information for evaluation. Submission gives Synth City Radio only the limited permission needed to access, listen to and assess the material. It does not transfer ownership of the music or artwork.

Referral or partner relationships with submission services do not determine editorial outcomes.

4. Third-party platforms and external links

The website may link to or display services provided by Spotify, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, MailerLite, radio or streaming providers and music submission platforms. Synth City Radio does not control their availability, accounts, payments, content moderation, cookies or data practices.

When you follow an external link or use an embedded third-party feature, that provider's terms and privacy policy apply. Use of YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. TikTok services are governed by TikTok's own terms and privacy policy.

The private administration panel may connect the official Synth City Radio social accounts through platform APIs to read the project's own account statistics. This is not a public social login and does not give the website access to visitors' social media accounts.

5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the Synth City Radio name, visual identity, original website design, original editorial text and original graphics are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to public pages for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reproduce, republish, sell, impersonate, remove attribution from or commercially exploit original Synth City Radio material without permission. Rights in music, artwork, videos, trademarks and embedded material belonging to artists, labels or external platforms remain with their respective owners.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the website to:

• break the law or infringe the rights of another person;
• attempt to access private administration areas, credentials or systems without authorisation;
• introduce malware, abuse forms, overload the service or interfere with its security or operation;
• misrepresent an affiliation with Synth City Radio or impersonate the project;
• systematically extract or reuse website content in a way that creates unreasonable load or substitutes for the original service.

7. Availability, accuracy and changes

Synth City Radio aims to keep the website and radio available, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Streams, APIs, embeds and external links may fail or change for reasons outside the project's control. Maintenance, licensing, technical limits or editorial decisions may require content or features to be changed, suspended or removed.

Reasonable care is taken with editorial and technical information, but mistakes, outdated links or temporary inconsistencies may occur. Corrections may be made without prior notice.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the website and its free features are provided on an "as available" basis. Synth City Radio is not responsible for losses caused solely by third-party outages, external platform decisions, links, content or services outside its control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability for intentional wrongdoing, or any mandatory rights that a consumer cannot waive.

9. Privacy and cookies

Personal data, newsletter information, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and cookie choices are described in the Privacy & Cookies Policy. Optional analytics and marketing technologies remain subject to the choices available through the cookie banner and the Cookie settings link in the footer.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Polish law. This does not deprive consumers in the European Union or European Economic Area of any mandatory protection granted by the law of their country of habitual residence.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the website, its external integrations or applicable requirements change. The current version and update date will always be published on this page. Material changes apply from the date shown above unless a later effective date is stated.
